About Derby Aboriginal Health Service

Derby Aboriginal Health Service (DAHS) is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service (ACCHS) dedicated to providing holistic primary health care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in Derby and surrounding areas. Our organisation prides itself on delivering innovative public health programs alongside comprehensive primary health services, all while adhering to numerous service agreements with both Commonwealth and State departments.

Your Role as a CQI Officer

As the Continuous Quality Improvement Officer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of care at DAHS. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a robust quality improvement framework that ensures our services meet accreditation and licencing requirements. Your expertise in quality management systems will support our staff and clinics in achieving excellence in health care delivery.

What We Are Looking For

We seek a passionate and proactive individual who shares our commitment to quality improvement in health care. If you possess strong communication skills and have a background in health care quality improvement or a related field, we want to hear from you!

  • Qualifications and/or relevant experience in health care quality improvement or related fields.
  • Experience with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and Quality Management.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective training and education delivery.
  • A current C class WA driver’s licence.

Your ability to work independently while also thriving in a team environment will be crucial for success in this role. We value ongoing education and a commitment to professional development, ensuring our team members are equipped to provide the best possible care.

Salary & Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $88,992 per annum, along with an accommodation allowance of $7,800 per annum. After 12 months of continuous service, you will also be eligible for an annual airfare allowance of $1,683.
